Teaching Our Youth to Make Sound Financial Decisions

Have you ever felt clueless when it came to budgeting, bank accounts, credit cards and credit reports? Being financially literate is a difficult task, especially when you are just a teenager with no finance experience. Studies show that U.S. teens are graduating without the skills to properly manage their money and avoid the lure of credit cards and check-cashing stores.

Make A Difference - Wisconsin has been providing financial literacy programs to students since 2006, hoping to teach and encourage students to make better financial decisions. Volunteers and students are both raving about the gain of Make A Difference - Wisconsin’s financial literacy programs. A simple $30 donation can help fund one student’s participation in the program, preparing him or her for the real world and its responsibilities.
