Thanks to everyone who attended the 20^th Annual Commitment to Justice Awards event Sept.10.  The event drew more than 200 people to the Milwaukee Hilton City Center who came to honor four community leaders for their important work in promoting social justice in the community.  Thanks to our major sponsors:  Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Morgan Stanley, and RitzHolman.  And thanks to all our sponsors.

• Lifelong Commitment to Justice Award: Peter Goldberg, lawyer with the Milwaukee Public Defender’s Office
• President’s Award: Victoria Wellens, former executive director of the Wisconsin Humane Society
• Future of Change Award: Stephanie Saniter, community services supervisor for Hope House of Milwaukee
• David Schwartz Business Humanitarian Award: Maureen Kane, owner of MMK Design
