Community Shares runs a different kind of workplace-giving campaign – one based on employee choices. You, the donor, decide where your pledge is directed. Here’s how we’re unique:
- We encourage and support your individual giving choices.
- Your gift goes to the organization you choose – in the amount you choose.
- We support organizations working for long-term social change.
- You can give to ANY 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the state of Wisconsin through Community Shares as long as their mission is not contrary to our values of social justice, public safety, and a healthy environment.
- We also fully support LGBT and Environmental organizations
For the Employer
We run employee-giving campaigns throughout the fall and winter seasons. We will work with someone from your company to add Community Shares organizations to your existing giving choices. It’s easy to do, and employees appreciate when the company they work for respects their individual giving choices.
When the campaign ends, we send your payroll coordinator a spreadsheet to make payroll deductions easy to do – you even get to pick the payroll schedule.
We also offer convenient Online Giving to your employees with no charge per pledge. We believe in great customer service, and we tailor your campaign to fit the interests and attitudes of your company.
